Brian May Cyborg

Illustration I made specifically for the new "Another World" artbook made by Brian May with fan works.
For the occasion I listened to the Another World album and the song Cyborg inspired me for a drawing, so I went and looked up for a backstory of it.

"'Cyborg' was a song I wrote for a video game called 'Rise Of The Robots', which was a sort of robot combat fighting game. [...] The song was written from the point of view of the beaten-up robot. You never think what the poor smashed up robot might be going through!" - Brian May 🤖

With all of these infos and the wonderful "BriBorg" costume from the Rhapsody Tour, I've drawn a desperate BriBorg fighting to come out of the videogame, while the player is about to erase the game files, like the ominous voice threatens the cyborg at the end of the song. This has been a great challenge but also very fun to make, it gave me the opportunity to try new effects and options I've never used before!
